Mobile Applications For Classroom Uses
Google Classroom:
Google Classroom is one of the most comprehensive online tools for classroom communications and organization, and one of my favourite Education Apps. It allows for discussions, assignments, assessment, and review all in one place. One of its best features is that students can turn in assignments through the platform, giving teachers an easy view way to see who has or hasn’t turned in an assignment. It also allows for quicker grading, as students can see when the teacher has viewed, commented on, or graded their work. Duolingo:
Duolingo is a freemium language-learning platform that includes a language-learning website and app, as well as a digital language proficiency assessment exam. Duolingo courses include periodic advertisements which users can pay a subscription fee to remove. As of November 2016, the language-learning website and app offer 68 different language courses across 23 languages, with 22 additional courses in development. The app is available on iOS, Android and Windows 8 and 10 platforms with about 200 million registered users across the world. Memrise:
Another way to learning languages ! Memrise uses some creative and easy way to remember words for learning any language. The focus of this app is to help the users expand their vocabulary by learning English words in an effective way. Instead of having you just read through words and their translations, and trying to memorize them in their raw form, it creates an association between the translation and words you are already familiar with .Memrise also offers an offline mode to continue learning without internet connection and that's a major difference between it and Duolingo. some reviewers say that Memrise is useful more in learning vocabulary while Duolingo is more useful in learning grammar. |

Seesaw :
It is an application that allows students to v=creat their own portfolios in which they can post, share and publish their best productions with their parents. Through this application, teachers can track the progress of their students and can indirectly assess their performance by taking a look at their portfolios. After an adequate assessment, the teacher can invite the parents for a meeting to spot, discuss and analyze the weakness and strengths of each student.
